homemade lebanese hummus recipe

1 can chickpeas
1 lemon, juice
1 Tbsp tahini
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp chili powder
1 clove garlic, optional
paprika and olive oil to serve
Rinse and drain the chickpeas, place in a food processor.
Add the tahini, lemon juice, salt, chili and, if using, the crushed garlic.
Process until smooth or slightly textured consistency achieved.
Serve decorated with paprika, olive oil (optional), and warm pita bread on the side
