how to make easy persian zereshk polo recipe step by step with pictures



 
 Ingredients
 
  500grams  of rice washed and soaked for half an hour +3  onion sliced +2 chicken,  cut into quarters without skin +4 cloves garlic, minced  + a glass of  water + 3/4 teaspoon of crushed black pepper+ 3/4   teaspoon of cinnamon powder + a sprinkle of saffron + salt according to  taste +  50 g of butter +2 tbsp of water + 1/2 lemon juice +1/2  tablespoons sugar + 1 cup  of dried pomegranate cleaned and washed +1/4  tablespoons of saffron mixed in 1/3  cup of hot water added to it one  large spoon of oil
 
  
 
  Fry onions in 1/4 cup of oil and leave it on fire until it browns
 
  
 
  Add garlic and fry the mixture
 
  
 
  Add the chicken pieces and fry them till they take the  red color 
 
  
 
  Add the pepper, cinnamon, saffron, salt and flip the mixture over low heat
 
  
 

 
 Add 2 cups of  water and leave the mixture until boiling
 
  
 
  Cover and leave it on fire until chicken is cooked and the sauce thickens
 
  
 


 
 Cook rice until  it is almost cooked
 
  
 
  Then filter the rice
 
  
 
  Take half the amount of rice and add saffron, water and oil mixture and flip  it carefully
 
  
 

 
 Put 1  tablespoon of oil in a pan and then Add white rice
 
  
 
  Then put the chicken mixture
 
  
 
  Then the rice mixed with saffron
 
  
 
  Put the butter, lemon juice, water, sugar and  dried pomegranate in the pan
 
  
 
  And flip the mixture over low heat so as not to burn dried pomegranate until  the mixture almost dry up of water
 
  
 

 
 Put dried  pomegranate mixture on the surface
 
  
 
  Cover pot with tin
 
  
 
  Put the pot in the oven for 20-30 minutes  until the steam is billowing 
 
  
 
  When catering remove the dried pomegranate mixture then put it on the surface  of rice
